Christmas Bucket List: Bestie Edition
/There’s just something about the holidays that feels extra magical when you share them with your friends and family. From cozy nights to sparkly adventures, the season isn’t about perfection. It’s about giggles, memories, and love that warms your heart. So we put together our favorite things to do to make this season shine brighter than ever!
1. Matching Holiday PJs while Decorating the Christmas Tree
Grab your matching pjs! Nothing says Merry Christmas like decorating in matching jammies. We look forward to this tradition every single year!
2. Christmas Lights Adventure
Hop in the car, blast your fave holiday playlist, and drive around soaking in the sparkle. Whether it’s a neighborhood street glowing with lights or a big city display, it’s guaranteed to make you smile. When we think of North Carolina favorites, Charlotte Motor Speedway and Tanglewood top the list.
3. Gift Swap
Set a budget, get creative, and surprise each other with the most thoughtful (or silly) gifts you can find. Extra sparkle if you wrap it in glitter paper!
5. DIY Ornament Night
Grab clear ornaments, paint, glitter, and ribbons. Make something that sparkles as much as you do.
6. Gingerbread Night
Grab the icing, sprinkles, and gumdrops. Nothing brings out the Christmas fun like a gingerbread showdown. Who’s ready to decorate? Costco is our go-to for premade gingerbread houses.
7. Christmas Movie Night
Nothing says Christmas celebration quite like a cozy movie night! Transform your home into a festive theater with popcorn, sweet treats, and your favorite Christmas classics.
8. Cookie Night
Our family has kept this tradition for years, and it’s always one of the most-loved nights of the holiday season. Piles of sugar, swirls of icing, sprinkles everywhere, and nonstop giggles. And of course, cookie night isn’t complete without the battle for best cookie!
9. Give Back Together
Find a way to share the love: volunteer at a toy drive, bake cookies for neighbors, or leave surprise notes of encouragement around town. A little love goes a long way + the holidays shine brightest when we give.
10. End-of-Year Reflection
Light a candle, grab your journals, and write down your favorite 2025 memories. We love to dream about what we’re carrying into 2026. A bestie heart-to-heart is the perfect way to close out the year, reflect on the highs and lows, and set intentions for what’s next.
The best part of a holiday bucket list? It’s not about checking off tasks. It’s about making memories that last forever. So grab your people, a mug of cocoa, and dive into the magic of the season. Here’s to love, laughter, and sparkle this holiday season.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
