Let god and let go

Written by VL.

I sit and wonder, deep in thought,

Must I accept the hate that’s brought?

How are you? I ask today,

Thanking the Lord—He lights my way.

The Spirit whispered soft and clear,

“Let Instagram go, be free from fear.”

This choice, though mine, might not be yours,

For letting go opens healing doors.

Perhaps you’ll need to free your heart—

Let relationships fade, let old pride depart.

Maybe you must shed hate or pain,

Release all burdens that cause disdain.

Over two hundred thousand voices once cheered,

A kin of love that once appeared.

Yet even as some words did sting,

I prayed for them, like the warmth of spring.

For God is love, the Scriptures proclaim,

“Cast your cares on Him,” (1 Peter 5:7) in His name.

When hurt or pride drags your spirit low,

Trust in His voice—simply let it go.

This decision might not be yours to choose,

But in my journey, I had nothing to lose.

I let go of Instagram’s digital art,

For God’s own whisper led my heart.

So pray for friends and family dear,

For your city, your country, all you hold near.

In every trial, let love be your guide,

With God beside you, no need to hide.

If ever you’re weighed by social disdain,

Remember there’s strength in releasing pain.

Let God lead you in all you do—

For His perfect plan will see you through.

Let go, let God, and you shall see:

A life unburdened, completely free.
